I'm Brinda and I take play very seriously.

See my stills and media.

I dream. I do.

I imagine, I perceive. Come join me in my adventures from tale to tale, set to set, stage to stage.

Being an actress is my way of helping people.

My roots are in Bharatanatyam, a classical dance tradition from South India that combines rhythmic dance technique with non-spoken, gestural storytelling sequences, depicting stories both religious and not. A fourth generation artist, I studied under the guidance of my mother. My love for storytelling was piqued from age 6 and it's taken me on a journey and introduced me to a community that I feel incredibly grateful to be a part of. I still feel warm when I remember my first ever show at Children's Fairyland in Oakland, CA. I played a lil' Monkey named Saru!

I'm like a titanium lined velvet glove. Unpredictable, lovable, and rosy. Dancing to the rhythm of the wind, my dynamism and vibrancy are some of my favorite traits that I enjoy bringing to life and work. And amidst the vision and focus, I must share that I deeply love pickled vegetables, learning new languages, dubstep, hygge and really, really good cake. Let's get a dosa sometime and ideate. That's my favorite.

California raised and New York made, I feel lucky to call both New York City and Los Angeles home base.
